| Grant Requirements |

Priority will be given to applicants that serve Pierce County. |

All applicant organizations must qualify as tax-exempt organizations under the Internal Revenue Code. |
|
 |
Grants to any one organization will generally not be approved more often than once a year and will not constitute a guarantee of future funding. |
|
 |
Grant applications must be signed by the Executive Director of the organization. |
|
| Priorities for Funding |

Requests which benefit health, education, youth, and social services, in Pierce County. |
|
 |
Capital campaigns and Endowments. |
|
| Proposals Ineligible for Funding |
 |
Religious organizations where funds would be used to further a religious purpose. |
|
 |
Organizations that discriminate on the basis of age, race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, disability, political affiliation or religious belief. |
|
 |
Organizations where funds would be used to further political causes or support lobbying activities. |
|
 |
