The Milgard Grandchildren

As stated in our Mission Statement, it is very important for Gary, Carol, Cari, Lori and Mark to continue their legacy of philanthropy by educating their descendents in the value of community service. What better way to get the next generation involved than by giving them first hand experience working with charitable organizations.

The Foundation sets aside 1% of the total funds for the four Milgard grandchildren to donate each year. They are responsible for determining which organizations they want to visit, and they also decide how the funds shall be allocated.

During the summer months, the grandchildren visit several charitable organizations in the community. These visits help the children make their decisions about which organization to contribute to.
